Ok, so now that I’m done obsessing over myself and my book, I can get back to blogging about important things, like the Supreme Court nomination season premier of Jon & Kate Plus Eight.  

I’m am seriously shaken by it.  Kate looked ridiculous.  The white teeth?  The fake tan?  The cute clothes?  This isn’t Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kate.  You’re supposed to walk around in those gray sweat pants and one of the shirts about being a mom of eight that you obviously got for free after being on Oprah for the first time.  The tension between Jon and Kate was enough to fuel a trip to Awkward Town and back.  Kate was throwing Jon under the bus left and right.  Sure, he probably isn’t going to win Husband of the Year for 2009, but come on, Kate.  Cut him some slack.  Or at least try to look like you are on national television.  Don’t make yourself a martyr because you went to pick up the birthday decorations by yourself.  I’ve been to Party City by myself too and do you see me crying into any cameras about it?  NO.  

So, I guess the bottom line is that I want them to reconcile, but if it comes down to it, I’m on Team Jon.  And my second bottom line would be show me more Leah.  That kid is so cute, she deserves her own reality show, an action figure, and her own line of fragrances.
