When I was at a high school earlier this week, I got a question from the audience along the lines of “Since you’re getting older, how do you still connect with young people?”  And while I certainly wasn’t offended by the question, I was kind of surprised.  Me?  Old?  But I’m so (insert cooler word for “hip” here)!

Today I have another high school talk (At Kennedy!  Holler!) and yesterday I heard that there might be a ton of snow coming today.  When I woke up, my first thought was “I hope it’s not a snow day,” because I’m really pumped to go into school today.  And then I realized that hoping against a snow day is probably the old fartiest thing I could ever do.

Do me a favor and pass an adult diaper my way.  It’s time.
