Not to harp on this stomach stuff too much, but I don’t really get sick all that often and when I do, I’m a big fat baby about it, so one more thing…I never realized how much I think about food until I was so stomach achey that I wasn’t hungry for four days in a row.  I’m the kind of person who hasn’t skipped a meal ever, so not being hungry for several days was a weird change.  And I have to say, I’ve never been so productive and focused.  All of the energy I normally spend torturing myself over the should I/shouldn’t I of dessert or planning what’s happening for lunch was going straight into writing.  I think the amount of effort I spend wishing I had some Nutella on a spoon alone could probably be channeled into an entire freelance piece a week.
Anyway, my appetite’s back and my productivity breakdown is back to normal…40% writing, 60% food porn thoughts, 0% showering.
