This is the longest my hair has been in a while and I am loving it.  I remember a few years ago, my friend Cristin announcing that she wanted to grow her hair “irresponsibly long.”  I’m going to see that irresponsibly long and raise it.  I want to grow my hair so long that when I’m on public transportation, the school children sitting behind me play with my dead unhealthy ends until their mother reprimands them about personal space and I’m unaware of the entire encounter as I’m too engrossed in my book, which is probably about bird watching.

In summary, I want to grow my hair so long that I develop an interest in bird watching.
