I recently added these shoes to my closet and then last week, I saw them on the Real Housewives of NYC.  Anyone remember them?  LuAnn’s daughter Victoria pulled them out on their drive to the city right before LuAnn forced her to relay that her guy friends find LuAnn attractive.  LuAnn took one look at the shoes and told Victoria they’re far too sophisticated for a 14-year-old.  Even though I’m over a decade too old to be having this reaction, the fact that I’m doing something that someone else’s parents won’t allow them to do absolutely thrills me.  This somehow makes up for the fact that I never got my cartilage pierced.  

And for anyone who is interested, these shoes are Madden Girl and those straps are all…wait for it…elastic.  No pinching or digging.  They’re totally the jegging of four inch heels!
