Sometime in August, I re-found these glasses from college and decided rimless was the new black plastic and to get the prescription updated so I could wear them.  I didn’t get around to it right away and then the Republican VP nomination happened and I felt like I couldn’t get them updated because it would be a little too Country First.  I tried the glasses on again last night and, although I couldn’t see myself all that well in the mirror, think I still like them.  So now I’m here wondering when will wearing rimless glasses change from being Palin-chic back to just being about someone with myopia whose contacts get itchy if she wears them too many days in a row?  That’s the change I’ll be waiting for.  (Well, among some others.)    

PS-Yeah, that’s a diagonal french braid.  No big whoop.
