Just about wrapping up my packing for the week long trip Leila and I are about to take.  We’re going to Djenne and then to Dogon Country with a possible stop in Mopti.  Here’s an article that my Africa guru Alexis wrote on Dogon Country if you want to take a read.  (I kind of know that my mom and dad are the only two people engaged enough with the blog to click through, but guys, it’s really interesting, take a look.)  

Looking at the supplies Leila and I have each laid out for the trip, she has an entire stack of t-shirts, two long sleeved shirts, and a sleeping shirt.  And I have four…in total.  Welcome to another episode of Two Girls, Two Backpacks where I play the smelly friend again.  I’m starting to feel like I’m getting typecast.  

So long for a while, blogfriends.  I’m not going to have internet for a week and then will only be checking in every few days after that, I think.
